Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play a the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing. Ephesians 2:7-10

it’s about god

The fact of God’s existence is so conspicuous, both through creation and through man’s conscience, that the Bible calls the atheist a “fool” (Psalm 14:1).

We know certain things to be true of God: in His mercy He has taken on human form in the person of Jesus; God is also spirit, by nature intangible. God is One, but He exists as three Persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God is infinite, incomparable, and unchanging. God exists everywhere, knows everything, and has all power and authority. He’s created everything we know! Wow!

it’s about jesus

Jesus is God in the flesh! Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a perfect life among us, was crucified, dead, and buried, rose on the third day, ascended to heaven, and will come again in glory and judgment. He is the only Mediator between God and man. He is the beauty of our Faith.

& let’s not forget… No one comes to the Father but through Jesus.

The Holy Spirit is one with the Father and the Son. He was sent to us from the Father and the Son to dwell in the hearts of believers. He works in us to regenerate a heart of stone into a heart of flesh; enabling us to love God. He is also working to sanctify us to God. He is our comforter and friend.

The word “Bible” comes from the Latin and Greek words meaning “book,” a fitting name, since the Bible is the book for all people, for all time. It’s a book like no other, in a class by itself. Jesus is the central character in the Bible—the whole book is really about Him. The Old Testament predicts His coming and sets the stage for His entrance into the world. The New Testament describes His coming and His work to bring salvation to our sinful world. It is God’s Word; a very unique gift.

it’s about salvation

Because all have sinned, atonement must be made in order for man to be reconciled to God. Jesus Christ made a complete atonement for His people through His substitutionary atoning death on the cross. He gives His righteousness to all believers securing us with full redemption for all who repent of their sin and trust in Him alone for salvation that can never be lost.
